1 C butter
1/2 C Karo Syrup
1 1/3 C sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
almonds or pecans (optional)
Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil a rolling boil for about five minutes, stirring all the time. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp vanilla.
Prepare enough popcorn to fill a large tupperware bowl, about 3/4 full. I'll usually pop some extra popcorn in another bowl, then I can add some more if I have too much syrup.
Add the nuts, almonds or pecans, or both to the popcorn. Have this ready so when your syrup is ready you can pour it onto your popcorn and nuts.
Gently fold the syrup over the popcorn and nuts to coat well.
Spread on wax paper to dry.
Very easy and super yummy!
